Leighton James Dyer
Tatsie is the board-design practice of Leighton James Dyer, a senior art director based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Over 26 years in advertising, Leighton has won at Cannes Lions and taken an ADFEST Grand Prix, working across brands from Sole Technology and éS Footwear to DC Shoes. His Muckmouth skateboard design led to a collaboration with DC Shoes USA.
He has designed more than 180 skateboards. The Tatsie decks are love letters to sneakers, consoles and the cult brands of skate and BMX history. Each one is a one-off, designed and printed in New Zealand on Canadian rock maple decks available in 8", 8.2" or 8.5" (you choose the width).
